La234 loader can be salvaged. New lines, cylinder rebuilds, and a fresh coat of paint. Will make a great loader for a compact tractor needing a loader. The belly mower is ok as well. Will need wheels and belt.

Dang, burned the tractor right out from under it. Well, at least the bolts are accessible.

I wonder how he came to that conclusion....

I wouldn't trust it for a minute.... the seals in the gearbox are probably toast. (no pun intended)
along with possible bearing and spindle damage.
