Hello everyone! Am new here.. I am looking to purchase a box blade that could handle a 100HP tractor. I find it very tough to find a large HEAVY-DUTY one that could accommodate my 2021 Kubota M5-091.. any advice? (I am located in Western Maryland.) Thanks in advance!

Everythingattachments.com (Newton, NC.) makes/sells 8' & 10" 3pt. box blades for tractors up to 220HP.

Landpride, and Woods/Gannon make heavy duty ones.
I recently purchased a used Rhino 7’ not sure if they still make new ones.

Most larger ones 8’ and larger that I’ve seen have been a pull type with lift wheels. If your not wanting a 3pt type.

Edit to add photo.

Just looked on their website, not seeing any with hydraulic rippers, they have some that are nice and heavy but they are over $8k.
Yup...... cheap they are not!
I am not aware of any made with hydraulic rippers.
If so,........likely even MORE costly.

Might be worth looking at John Deere LL12 and LL13 series. They can be configured with a wide variety of options (rolling baskets, hydraulic rippers, tilt axle, etc.). I have seen them used by large farmers who have miles of rock and/or sand roads to maintain. No direct experience.

Looks like a VERY nice box blade. I would not mind finding something like it! Any sources you may share? Thanks much.

I bought a Land Pride BB3584, it stands up well to my Kubota M5-091.

I bought it used a few weeks ago. And made a 8 hour round trip to pick it up. Facebook marketplace, Craigslist. And sometimes dealerships, I found a like new hydraulic rear blade a few weeks ago also at a semi local Kubota dealer for less than half a new one was.

forgot to ask you... what has been your (or someone you know)'s experience with them?
I have zero experience with Cammond. Gannon used to be the major industrial machine box blade provider. The new owners apparently decided to discontinue all of these blades, focusing on homeowner quality.
As far as 8 foot wide options, true industrial grade, they are far and few between. Cammond appears to be the best option at this time that I am aware of.
You might want to consider a top & tilt set also if you are going to be doing a lot of grading.

While not a box blade, I bought a used Buhler/Farm King hydraulic angle 8ft rear blade locally that I found on Craigslist. It was half the cost of a new one, and given that it's 90% or more as good as a new one, I think it was a good buy. Like many here, I've bought new implements and used implements with few regrets.

I have a 7ft EA box blade and there's no doubt that hydraulic scarifiers would be a nice feature, but I think that feature could be added via modification if you're even a remotely decent welder. One of the things I've always liked about the EA box blade and land leveler (land plane) is that the scarifiers are located behind the main cross member rather than passing through it as is common with many designs. The EA design is much better suited to severe use and might also be easier to modify if an hydraulic option is required.

A friend of mine told me he found a 8' Land Pride BB2596 Box Blade's For Sale. It was setup for snow removal and have poly cutting edges and NO RIPPERS.

Anybody knows how much it would cost to install STRONG rippers (and where to get them?) Thanks!
