If you want a smoother ride the turn the “-“ down and adjust as needed. If you look underneath the seat you will see 2 springs. As you move the dial “+” the tighter the strings should get. As the springs loosen you might notice your seat feels like it jumps up and down as you go over bumpy areas. I prefer a comfy ride and don’t mind the slight jumpy feeling every once and awhile.

After rehabbing my back for 7-8 weeks (sciatic nerve problem), I finally got back on the mower. I adjusted the suspension seat towards the "-" side, and it gave me a more cushioned ride. Now I drive slower, and try to avoid those killer tree roots sticking up out of the ground.......

Haven't been in any shape to crawl under the tractor to look at the parking brake issue yet. Was wondering if you've been able to still use your parking brake, or notice anything different in how it operates?
