I was prepping our LX2980 snowblower for the winter and found this near it. It's thin vinyl.
Thanks

I have several unproductive smart aleck suggestions but honestly have no clue.
Mot familiar with the snowblower model.
What is the size? Hard to guess scale from the picture.

Google lens didn't know, and it has identified some weird objects for me in the past.Discarded skin from an "alien" face hugger.
PTO cover, protective gong cover for hunting season so that it doesn't get shot, ..... whatever it is, you could carve a Jack-O'-Lantern into it and hang it on your front door.I was prepping our LX2980 snowblower for the winter and found this near it. It's thin vinyl.

Apologies on the 15” size. Missed the tape in the picture on my cell phoneIt's about 15" across (see the tape measure in the photo) It is a single sheet of material. The fact that it is the color it is and that it was near our new snowblower might just be a coincidence.
Hmm...maybe. I'll check with those who run our chainsaws. It reminds me of the rear flap for a logging helmet. It keeps snow and stuff from getting in your collar and going down your back.
Looking at it closely, I think that you may have it. The holes and slots at the top look a lot like the ones for the helmet head band.It reminds me of the rear flap for a logging helmet. It keeps snow and stuff from getting in your collar and going down your back.
