Wanted to see if anyone has installed a rear camera on their tractor

I have to to cut along a long stretch of road and my mirrors don't really help when I have to cut it

also is the monitor weatherproof? as I don't have a cab and sometimes the tractor does sit out in the rain

Also wanted to see if it would help when aligning up 3 point attachments. Getting older and trying to twist around is getting more dificult

There was a thread several years ago on this that had lots of (then current) info but I haven't been able to find it :(

I got one from Amazon. The camera is mounted upside down on the ROPS and the 4x6 screen is mounted on the dash with Velcro. The camera is tightened just enough to keep it from moving on its own. This allows me to change the angle on the fly. I aim it down to see the Quick hitch while working in close quarters and angle it up while working on the street.

Where is your mirror mounted? I bought a pair of magnetic mount mirrors for my L4600 and mounted one on the front frame of the hard top giving decent rearview vision, and another overhead that lets me look UP to see the quick hitch instead of trying to turn my once broken neck to the side.
I like the camera concept but my current use doesnt justify it. The mirrors were a reasonably priced option

I am also interested in a rear camera. In an old post dated 12-16-23 KENNYD4110 had mentioned a couple of choices but I have not had time to check them out. Please let me know if you learn about which one would the best one. Thanks.

The screen will wash out for the sunlight. I went with a mirror mounted on the sun shade.

The camera I use on my tree shear has the monitor on the dash near the steering wheel. I have a shield over the monitor and I have no trouble seeing what it displays.
