Are there any other places on the web to order kubota parts from? I need an ac vent grill and the part is $25 but they want $16 for shipping.

Damn think only weighs a few ounces.

As Daren points out - Coleman's is just as good, shipping somewhat the same, I do understand your concerns too = I once needed a key...A key to a tool box, could have mailed it in a envelope with a 50 cent stamp .....but NOOOOOOOO - they wanted to charge $14.95 for shipping!

Sometimes it truly is worth to have it shipped to your door.....you dont have to drive out or anything like that....sit back and wait and roll on!

I have a m7060. The closest dealer to me is 25 minutes one way without traffic. The dealer I bought it from is 2 1/2 hours away. The tractor is at my hunting camp and not my house.

I ended up ordering the part from Coleman's and paid $10 shipping. That seems fair to me.

I order parts for my rental equipment on a daily basis. Very often the freight it more than the part. It used to infuriate me. I have learned to live with it. I would rather pay the freight than do the driving.

The worst I have encountered is when a supplier just across the border in the Buffalo area wanted $60 for shipping a tiny $4.00 foil A/C charge label for an old car I was restoring 10 years ago. With exchange etc. it was about $80 Canadian. I called them and asked if they could just put it in a small envelope and mail it but they refused until I spoke to the manager. He agreed with me and sent it with free shipping. I was ready to just go and pick it up myself which would have taken about two hours round trip just across the border in the Buffalo area. I wasn't exactly a first time customer either.

A lot of companies use third party shipping who charge whatever they want.

I would have had it faster and for the same price and gotten it faster if I would have ordered it online.

If my dealer pulled that on me, that would be the last time they ever saw me at their parts department. What were they thinking, telling you one thing and doing another when you show up...

The parts person probably ordered it in regular shipping, not a stock order which would not have shipping to pay for.
