Any innovative ideas for covering light controls?

Anyone have any innovative ideas for making a cover for a B2100 light controls that will help to keep water out while it is sitting in weather?

Anytime that I had my previous B7200 tractor outside I always covered it with a heavy vinyl tarp plus a can over the vertical exhaust. New tractor with cab is left as is.

A friend of mine mounted a few switches inside one of these PVC electrical parts.
Meant for outdoor use.
Looks very nice, I don't have a pic of his installation.

I'm assuming some type of rocker although I don't know what the switch looks like. A lot of switch types have weatherproof covers. I'd look for one of those, first on Amazon or similar.

Other than that, attach a piece of metal just above it. I'd probably bend an angle on a small piece and attach just above.
