Daughter bought a used bx2380 with a front mounted snowblower. This was on the rear 3pt hitch. Any idea what it is or what it's used for?

most likely some type of grass catcher device. They might have sold the tractor less the mower deck and forgot to take that part off of the tractor when it left.

Looks like a garbage can carrier. Hook your garbage can to it, drive it to the street for pick up.
