I need to add a little bit of antifreeze before winter. I'm afraid of adding the wrong brand or type. What does the Kubota experts here use ? I'd hate to ruin my engine or cooling system.

WFM - seems like there was an extended discussion on antifreeze very recently.

Do a search for "antifreeze," and maybe it will pop up. It wasn't too long ago - maybe going back a few pages on the "Service, Repair" section might show it.

You should look for something suitable for diesels.

Good luck!:)

The owner's manual for my L3560 says that if the level is low do to evaporation, just add soft water. If due to leakage, add recommended mixture (50/50 soft water and ethylene glycol type for the L3560 engine).

On your vintage of tractor it should just be normal antifreeze, just pull a little out and look at the color, and match the color. ;)

Ok...I'll borrow mothers turkey baster and suck some out and check the color.
