I own a L3901 purchased new in 2021. Up until this summer regens occured regularly between 15 and 20 hours. 15 in the winter (snow plowing, firewood) 20 in the summer (finish mower and brushhog). So far this summer I have not had a regen light come on. 44 hours since the last one. I have 403 hours on the tractor. Should I be concerned? It starts and runs fine. I am new to Kubota and deisel tractor. My only other tractor was a 1950 8N I had for 34 years.

Could you have simply just not noticed the last regen.
When i'm working, my machine's hard, I sometimes don't even notice a regen happening.
If you're not getting any warnings, just run it like you normally do would be my recommendation.

I have gotten close to 70 hours before on my MX6000 between regens and last August we had some 90 MPH winds go threw and took out a bunch of tress so I had a couple friends out helping clean up and put the MX6000 on a flatbed trailer for hauling brush about a half mile to a brush pile. The guy running the MX6000 was idling it a lot and running slow to the pile. About 3/4 threw the day he came pulling into the pile area and jumped off the tractor and run over to the skid loader I was running and said there are lights on the dash flashing on the MX6000. I went over and it was trying to regen but he had it idling. Long story short it was regening about ever six hours the four days he was running it. It took a while after I was running it again to get it back up to were it normally regened. I always run it a two thousand and higher on the RPM'S.
I have the same tractor also purchased in 2021. Mine goes 40+ hours between regens since new. Your 15-20 hour behavior is not normal and liiely caused by a combination of short run times and operating it at low engine RPM.

I have a L3901DT that I have tracked the regens on since new. I see nothing wrong with the OP's hours between regens. Here is a list of my regens, the first column is the date, the second is the hours on the tractor and the third is hours since last regen:

Can you point me to something from Kubota that states how long it should be between regens that makes you say that there is something wrong with my engine?
Kubota does not provide that number because its conditions dependent.
Please dont put words in my mouth. I did not say there was anythinv wrong with your engine. Your L3901 regens every 10 to 20 hours. My L3901 easily goes 40 or more between regens. How do you explain that difference?
My explsnatio is real simple - I operate my tractor at 2200+ RPM and for hours at a time. That reduces the production of exhaust particulates and increases the time between regens. Kubota does explain that and advises operators avoid short run times and low engine speeds.
