The plugging of the rad reminds me of when I was late cutting a five acre field covered with dandelions that had come to seed a couple of years ago. Had to clean the rad screen and blow everything off with an air hose after every two circuits of the field otherwise I would smell anti-freeze. The seeds were piled a foot high surrounding the drive shaft on the mower deck.

I have this noxious plant called swallow wort on my property. It isn't indigenous and the local DNR is trying to get rid of it. Somehow my property is ground zero for the stuff. it has dandelion like floating seed pods except it is viney and there are a lot of pea or green bean sized pods. That does create issues around me.

At least I know that the oil cooler separates from the radiator so I can properly blow it out. I am still working on a pre-filter too. I might be able to fit a square of that woven fabric stuff between the two coolers to keep it from getting trapped inside.
