Maybe this picture will show what I am seeing. You can see the qa plate against the white background. Left side is just above. Right side is much higher. So the qa plate and the blade are not on the the same plane.

That is definitely not straight across. I see exactly what you are talking about.

You can tell them you have a Canadian buyer that will take it for a hefty price reduction plus they pay for shipping. I’d have no problem fixing it but wouldn’t even think of it if I payed full price. You deserve to get what you paid for it.
