BX2380 w/ ~11 hrs on it.
Was trying out my back blade in the winter for the very first time.
Almost lost reverse. Would barely barely move in reverse. Then I realized the pedal didn't seem to move back as far as usual and that maybe it was a linkage issue.
How would I back it into the garage w/o reverse? UGH
Decided to take a look out there at the end of the driveway before heading back and look what I found jammed behind the "go pedal".
I know what it is, but had no idea what part of the tractor it was from, so I took a couple pix and was going to post a thread like "ID this knob" (chuckle) but then figured out it was for the vent/screen thingy down by my knees and feet. I have never had it off...ever. The dealer may have when they wired up my electric
chute up/down on my front mounted snowblower.
If this had happened in the middle of a snowstorm or in the dark, I would've never found it. A few more pedal pushes and think it may have fallen through
to the driveway (or got super wedged in there) and likely be lost forever....maybe even got chucked 40' onto the lawn the next snowstorm.
Tighten those knobs boys ! (make up your own jokes and tell them to your better-half at home
