We are fine here in Northwest Alabama. We do have a lot of flooding with 2 state highways closed near by and in Northeast Mississippi they had tornados. While there seems to be a lot of damage very little loss of life, Thank God.
Northwest Ga, next to Al. County used all their road closed signs Christmas eve. Lighting struck a house and burnt it close to one of my nieces. And today, after Christmas, I'm working outside in a short sleeved shirt and sweating.
Had tornado hit homes in Bham and lots of flooding. We've got lots of water. Here is a before and after. Got the tractor out of the shed and moved it to higher ground. Water is still rising. But family is all ok. That's the main thing.
Water is up about 8 ft but house is up on a hill. Would have to rise another 35 - 40 ft to get to house. Tractor is under carport. So if it gets the house a whole lot of people have problems.
