Looking for a heavy duty ones. Ones that won’t get bent with a gust of wind. Mine came with same as yours
Don't take this the wrong way, but if your ramming your front end into something that's going to bend the stock covers, you really shouldn't have been there in the first place!
You're also going to do damage to something else around there or down the line. :confused:
It's a tractor not a DOZER. ;)

Far from ramming. And i actually Didn’t even bend it. I lent It out and it came back bent. They make them aftermarket for tons of tractors. So I’m not the only one having this problem. And why do people run grill guards? Because 💩 happens. I also Have the mindset that if it got bent once, it’ll get bent again. A lot of people do different stuff with their tractors. And some don’t treat them like a show car, it’s a tool.

You don't loan out tractors because the person you are loaning it to might not take as good of care of it as you would.

That’s about as easy to say as, “don’t let your wife drive your truck” in my life I’d love had some people do big favors for me, the last thing I can do is say no to borrowing my machine

You can ALWAYS say "Sure, you can borrow the tractor. BUT, I go along with it to be the operator."

That’s how it usually is, but usually my time with my 4 kids is more valuable than anything that can happen to a replaceable machine

I would recommend that the next time someone wants to borrow it you send them to Home Depot to rent a machine. Advise them to take the damage waiver on whatever they rent.

I guess you don’t have a brother or best friend or even dad that you’d lend your stuff out to? Or someone who lets you stay at their shore house for 2 weeks every summer for free? I’m not too greedy with my stuff. It’s a machine. It can be fixed, or simply upgraded. Didn’t think this post would be such a big deal.

I lend just about everything I own to the right person.
I'm the one that fixes everything so it's no big deal when things get broken.

I don't know where to buy them, but that looks like a pretty quick (and fun) "fab job". Get some 3/8 plate and bend em up real quick. (y)

My biggest concern would be;

"What part is gonna get broken if the covers are so strong that they don't bend?"

Just from a quick glance, it would appear that either the bolts would snap, or worse, the axle mounting holes would get cracked/buggered.

It's almost seems like a "bent cover" is a warning sign that should be heeded.

Just a thought.
