Advice needed - pine needles on driveway

Pine species generally have big cone production events every 3-7 years.

We've only been at our new place for ~5 years so this makes sense. Our last place was primarily oaks and maples which shed a ton of leaves and caused their own problems. However, the exponential number of pine cones was a hell of a thing for someone who was not expecting it.

you bag the cones and sell them $15 a bag( marked down from $20).....early December....
'magically' they all disappear and you have lots of 'toy' money to spend
