I just bought a Zen-Noh B1600D and the 3 point raises and lowers way too fast. Can someone please explain to me how to adjust the speed on this? I have searched the internet for hours and can't find anything.

Should be an adjust knob under seat or on one side or the other. Please note- this controls lowering speed, lift speed is what it is.

Dave J, you should get it to raise a little slower by idling the engine. If your load is too great to lift at idle, increasing the RPMs bit-by-bit until it builds enough pressure should work for you.

When lowering, the valve is either open or closed; weight on the 3PH determines how fast it goes down. Inching the lever forward a bit then pulling it back to center is how I creep down -- but it's pretty herky-jerky, as Paul Simon describes in 'One-Trick Pony'.

Thanks for the replies. I have looked for a knob all over and can't find one. If I move the control handle about 1/2 inch it moves a little slower but more than that ant it really pops up and slams down. At Idle of about 750 RPM it is still very fast.

There are two set bolts on the top of the control valve. is it possible that these are for speed control? I would think that there has to be some way to adjust this.
