Adding Hydraulic Adjust to LandPride PLL3048 Forks

I have a set of LandPride PFL3048 pallet forks that I use on my L6060. I find myself having to adjust the width of the forks frequently, and would like to add hydraulic fork width adjustment. I have a 3rd function on the loader, and was curious if anyone has ever added a hydraulic adjust cylinder to their PFL3048 forks and used the 3rd function to adjust them. Thanks for any suggestions or information.

As I recall from the forklifts I used years ago. They had 2 small cylinders mounted on frame. Use a tee to plumb them you will have to mount the fixed end off center to the opposite side and the rod end would connect near the top of the fork. I would depend on the length of the cylinder's you get on how far they need to be off set.

I have an older set of HLA forks that use a hydraulic motor and a chain to drive the forks. Easy to snap the motor shaft key, I wish I had hydraulic cylinders to open and close the forks instead.

step 1 REMOVE the latches
step 2 CONFIRM step 1 is done...

then decide max out and in positions, and buy readymade cylinders,some mounting brackets,bolt on and test.you can get the idea from that PTPF link above
I'd connect the 3rd fnx to the 'left-right' valve so it becomes 'wider-narrower' ?
