The motor rear main oil seal, can it just be pulled out and replaced or does the cover with all those bolts have to come out and the seal removed from the back of that? BTW its from a L175.

I looked at my manual --- D950 engine. Looks like the seal will come out without removing that cover if you can figure out how to get a hold of the seal.
Thanks Bruce and may be I should go by the Kubota dealer here and pick up a new seal before I pull this one out. They may even know for sure and also that way I can see if the new one has a metal lip on the back of it.
