Hello !

I want to know what's exactelly "sunshine" term on many "02 series" ?!

I thought "sunshine" was like "zen-noh" but now I think it's different because "sunshine" is apply on "KUBOTA" models.

So is it a sort of option like "monroematic" ?

Maybe it's simply the term used to named all "02 series" ?

I found that family tree of KUBOTA tractors : http://jnouki.kubota.co.jp/jnouki/Special/os/history/

In 1978, it's written : "sunshine appears" & there's a picture of L2402 (02 series)
& in 1981 : "monroematic adoption on sunshine models"

(I'm not really speak japanese so if someone want to correct my translation, you can do it.)

So I really think "sunshine" is a surname for 02 series !

What do you think about it ? What's "sunshine" term ?

Thanks for all informations.

Leafy England....
From my understanding " sunshine" tractors are made up from parts from numerous sources, but having never had or encounter one in the flesh i cant confirm that.
I was in the process of buying one , a L245 version, looked to nice on the surface but was told to stear well clear of them ( with a very long barge pole) to quote the guys wording.
Parts can be a major problem to start with, that was good enough reason for me to give them a miss.
Personal choice situation really, they may be great, only first hand experience will confirm this.

good luck
