Everyone on this forum seems to be a great person, unlike many I've been on.

Not everyone is a expert (I know I sure am not) though many provide excellent advice from experience and just a :) general trying to do good by each other.

It would be nice if there was a like/dislike button so the poster was able to tell people appreciated (or hated) their help. There would not have to be any public posting of a persons 'rating' as many sites do. No need for 'competition to get the most likes'. But I know I'd like the ability to show my appreciation, a pat on the back, to those that provided help to me without the big process of sending a PM and then the obligatory 'Thank you' and so on.

On numerous other forums that I participate on, they have like buttons. I really like the feature, and find myself wanting to like posts here, but can't. So, I affirm the suggestion of including a like feature.
I doubt that I would ever use a dislike button, but it is an interesting suggestion.

Yes, the infamous like and slap buttons. I think it encourages certain individuals to accumulate the most slaps. I do agree it would be nice for a like button, but when an individual takes the time to personally thank a fellow forum member,im certain that it is appreciated.
My biggest like was becoming a lifetime member, thanking all who help and to keep OTT running.

I access this and a fe w other forums via an app on my pjone called Tapatalk and at the bottom of every post is a like, reply and add member button. I dont know what happens on your end when i hit the thumbs up though. Ill do it to all of the above to see what happens

My wife made a batch this evening. :D
