Is there an official thread that lists abbreviations used on the forum, particularly the abbreviations used for implements and accessories? I figured out “SCwts” is suitcase weights, and “BB” is obviously box blade, but, for example, what are “4wPlow,RR,BP”?

Good luck. After decades of acronyms the only one that seem to be consistent are FUBAR and WTF. Everything else is site / job specific.
Early years I ran an AA but the wife really though I needed the other AA.

Probably best to spell it out, for everyone's sake. Unless it is repeated continually in the same thread.

I was never a fan of FEL. But it was easy enuf to figure out.

If I'm talking about a couple named Hank and Karen, H&K might seem appropriate. But gun people would confuse it right off.

SIG is another one. Is it "signature" or another great german arms company.

skeets - you captured several folks ask about all the time.

There’s a few not tractor related I’ve had to look up:

AFAIK - as far as I know
IIRC - if I remember correctly
JIC - just in case
STFU - please re-think your response

"RR" has historically meant "remove and repair" in the mechanical world.
"U-D" = up- down
"L-R" = left- right
One usually needs to have a little imagination, and consider the context of use.

WYSIWYG,
pronounce wizzywig,..
short for What You See Is What You Get

The big problem with short forms is who is using them, in what field and what context
