I have never owned one.I have a Frantz called "Triple Decker". It uses 3 Tp rolls. Made for over the road trucks and bigger engines. I used it to filter drained motor oil back when diesel was $5 a gallon. Then mixed that oil with diesel according to the temperature. Always used the front tank for the mixed concoction and the rear tank for diesel pumped from the station. Used it in an '86 f250 3/4 ton. Started on the rear tank and ran for a few miles then switched to the front for the rest of the day, until the last few miles when I switched back to the front.
I dispose of used oil through a boiler i have. I drip used oil through a valve onto the hottest part of the burn chamber. Seems to burn very clean but sometimes a contaminate like sand or bark that was probably in the drain pan plugs up the very small valve I use.
This TP trick would solve my valve plugging problem as sometimes drain pans kicking around my shops get stuff like sand caught in them between uses.
