As you go to work today to put food on your table, up here in Taxachusetts, you can win a million dollars and still suck off the system. Hopefully our liberal state will make a major change this year and vote in Charlie Baker who vows to fix the welfare system. Unfortunately, most people of our state would consider these scum bags as victims. It drives me crazy that there are so many homeless veterans that need help and don't get it. No wonder why MA is #2 of the top public assistance per year pay out.

They should go back after that guy for fraud, and all back payments for the ebt cards and subsidies that they received. That's absolutely rediculous how someone can work the system like that and really pisses me off when I here where our tax dollars are going.
They offered free cellphones to destitute people here, and the average price of the vehicle folks drove who showed up for one of those phones was 40,000$. That's more then what the wife and I paid for both of our vehicles brand new

Your absolutely right, they should go after them for money, but I doubt they will. Experts are saying they will get an attorney paid for with tax dollars. Like I said before in MA most criminals are treated like victims, it's insane. We had some heroin heads rob my wife's bank she works at a few years ago, they caught them and they only served a few months. Take the Boston bomber kid, we like to call him almost dead terrorist #2, and not even give him the gratitude of saying his name (if you can pronounce it, I can't lol). They are treating him like a victim and he will probably skate by the death penalty. He's a terrorist plain and simple and should have been treated like one in my opinion. How you could place a bomb next to a 5 year old boy and give this guy rights. If I remember correctly I believe he was on assistance too.

As far as welfare goes up here, it's taking over my small community that I grew up in. I'm not racist or a homophobe by any means, I have friends of all. Around my town, it's white trash that is taking over, so I guess I may be racist against my own color. It's getting so bad that my property value is dropping, taxes are going up out of control, and the schools are filling with kids whose parents don't contribute any tax dollars to help fund everything. This is just my little town, I know we're not alone.

I just hope the hard working liberals in my state and this country will wake up and smell the coffee. I vote republican but don't agree with some in that party that take things to the extreme. Gay marriage, I personally don't care, life is short and do what ever makes you happy. I've worked for a few and they were always easy to deal with and paid their bill on time, couldn't ask for any better. Public funded birth control, it may keep the scum from breeding and bringing more into the system along with sexual education. I'm not religious but I do respect any one that is peaceful and that doesn't try to bring me into their fight. Basically, I would like to see both sides come to a common agreement and address major problems that are killing this country instead of personal beliefs. A lot of people forget this is a free country, but too many think it doesn't come with a price.

That doesn't surprise me one damn bit.............

  1. Don't pass go
  2. Don't collect $200
  3. Go directly to jail
If I were in charge:

Welfare lasts no more than 12 months with a 6 month extension. Once the maximum of 18 months is reached you have two options.

  1. Get a job or
  2. Get out of the state

Qualifications

  1. US Citizen
  2. State Resident
  3. Drug Test
  4. Valid Drivers License
  5. Not a Convicted Felon
*Can collect welfare under the terms above once every 5 years.

I couldn't agree more;) Vermont did a study saying that welfare recipient's don't breed welfare recipient's. I call b_@$ sh@t. Most of the folks i saw that were recieving welfare, had kids that were perfectly capable of working collecting welfare. Pulling funds that people really needed. Had a couple relatives, both lost there jobs, collecting 150$ a week in unemployment since one had gotten diagnosed with cancer and couldn't work. They went to try and get food stamps to get them through the bump. They were only allowed a one time draw of 25$
I was in wally world getting them grocerys, and saw some yahoo trying to by 50lbs of canned dog food with food stamps. They got denied, and told the cashier they would be right back. They got 50lbs of hamburger. Cashed out, and climbed into a 60,000$ truck that was leather and loaded.
I completely lost my shit out in the parking lot when i seen that. Here's some folks that truly needed the help and got denied, and you have some yahoo feeding his dog with 150$ worth of hamburger that could have gone to someone that needed it

The problem and answer we all see as so obvious are unfortunalty as obvious as the answers and problems to other side. The next civil war will be between the haves and have nots. You have and they want it! My solution would make a great many people unhappy. Google Rex 84 and dig a little if you really want to get riled up. Ed B

Sadly that happens every day with food stamps and EBT. I know there are people out there that really need it and should get it and don't. From what I can see with my own eyes around here too many are getting it that don't deserve it. For example I stand behind a kid in his 20's buying 12 red bull energy drinks and swiped it on his ebt card. I thought to myself.... If he doesn't work... Why do you need 12 energy drinks at $2.50 a pop? Then I wonder why does he have a EBT card when he could go sweep a floor as a laborer and fetch a decent pay check? Christ some Union laborers get 25+ an hour around here! The reality is because he has a "disease" of heroin or he is an alcholic so he is disabled. From what I've seen, most of these people buy junk food and feed it to their kids, except the one guy I saw buying a few pounds of king crab legs one time (I think I had stuff to make burgers lol). There are a few that buy healthy food for their kids. I stood in line at Walmart once behind a young girl that was using WIC checks and buying healthy food for her kids. They had to ring everything up separately and people were getting annoyed and left the line. I felt really bad for her and waited patiently, She was so embarrassed. I built a bank once in Greenfield, MA that was across the street from a food bank. All day long people pulled up in decent cars all the way to Cadillac and walked out with a load of food.

I've done a lot of work in public housing and it has definitely been a wake up call. We actually wanted to film our door to door adventures and put it online and I wish we did. Our saying was...Every door is an adventure. I want to say that I've seen it all from people that deserve to live there and scum that shouldn't. I've seen them OD, deal drugs, scratch tickets, and drink all day long. 90% of them smoke buts at $10 pack and drink beer 30 at a time. Rent a Center makes a killing renting furniture and 60" flat screens to them (makes me wish I owned stock in them). They don't work so that's being paid for with tax dollars. And this is in one high rise complex with 99% white people that was originally built as a assisted living retirement home in the 60's, now it's people from 20 to 50. The only clean apartments were occupied by Spanish or people of color, no lie you could eat off the floor. White people were disgusting and some should have been treated like hazmat zones.

As far as Vermont goes with their breeding study, I beg to differ. I would like to see those results from North Pownal. Pownal used to be a nice area long ago, they even had a world class Horse racing track. It closed down shortly after MA came out with scratch tickets because it was easier to scratch. My father used to have a few race horses and said people would love to go there for something to do and throw a few bucks on a horse. Now they scratch and give their money to the state. It's very sad and I believe these problems happen everywhere in the USA, but most people just blame Bush and not themselves.

I can't remember exactly all they stated in the study. I happened to be up on vacation and ended up hearing it on the radio. They tried making everyone here take a drug test for unemployment and welfare, but the aclu stepped in and said it violated someone rights. The measure ended up failing. Nothing ticks me off more then paying for someone elses habit, and someones free ride. I was all for the drug testing. Hell, i didn't support my own kid when he was on drugs. Wouldn't let him starve, and would buy him bread and bologna, and raman noodles. But he wasn't allowed to live with us. And couldn't move back in till he was sober and willing to get his life in order. Took us pushing him to join the military to get him straightened out. Funny how boot camp will knock the punk out of someone:D

Good for him, addiction is the devil, glad to hear he went straight and did something that will have a positive effect on his future. I hope he stays that way and kudos to you for pushing him. I don't have any kids but I deal with it within my family, not an easy thing when they don't want to help themselves. Personally thought of taking care of the dealers myself but jail doesn't look like a good option to me. Doctors make it too easy to get hooked on pills today and we all know where that goes after the pills are gone.

Just got this today... I am not much of a conspiracy nut but, when you start to look at some of the things uncovered as well as the "blue-screen" goofs made by the media, you gotta wonder. Grab a beer or a coffee and watch the first couple of videos. Chilling isn't strong enough of a word.

The killer questions for me are, why no aero medical copters for all the victims? And why no lawsuits afterwards? How can either of those be? And i have a couple of friends, formerly in law enforcement, that agree it was "staged."

I had an opportunity to see our district court in action a few years back. It left me completely floored and really mad.

Now you can have 10 dui's, and 20 some odd dls's and get to keep your liscense, and do 4 weekends in jail. Cause you need to keep your job.

You can also get caught driving a big rig strung out on meth, with 6 rocks of crack cocaine, and 2 syringes of heroin on your possession. No jail time, a 500$ fine and oh, you lose your cdl. (Did I mention that there was an accident as well, where 4 people ended up in the hospital). And you should really think about getting some counseling.

Shoot a dog that keeps coming on to your property being extremely aggressive and then has a small child pinned into a corner growling six inches from the child face. You will be read the riot act before the judge hears the case for a good five minutes. And then have to fight like hell to prove that you were in the right, the animal died instantly, didn't suffer, and there is just cause for shooting said dog. You would think all the rest would have been null and void when the dog had a kid pinned. Wife and I left the court room going Wtf:mad: The prosecuting attorney actually stepped in and pointed out to the judge that she was being and idiot:cool:

I think everyone should take a day during the week and sit in on the local criminal court. It's a real eye opener
