Got home last night and went to start the tractor to finish cleaning up the 18" snow fall, turn the key and nothing!! It was working fine when I shut it down the night before. Thought I might have left a defrost fan on and killed the battery. The heater and defrost fan are wired hot all the time, and they are still working fine. Noticed that when I turned the key on none of the indicator lights were lit. It also will not crank. Thinking that maybe the 4 forward lights an 1 rearward light might have overloaded the ignition switch. I noticed that the switch felt quite warm when I shut it down the night before. Hope my hunch is right as I ordered a switch this morning ($33.00). Next I'll have to get some relays and re-wire the lights through them instead of through the keyed power.

Talking 2" more snow on wed., switch won't here 'til thur. or fri. Ought to be fun replacing it out in the cold. But not as bad as replacing the hydraulic hose the other day with a -15 degree windchill!!

If some one has other thoughts on this problem I'd like to hear them!! And ya I know I should switch to LED or HID lights, but that just aint in the cards right now. Two years of being under employed is making the budget rather tight!!
