I have owned my 1996 l48 loader backhoe for 2 years now. Stupidly I have neglected fluid and filter changes all around. I want to correct my mistake, would the forum please get me started in the right direction?
I have the tools necessary to replace oil and filters but I do not have a manual.

What I am reading online regarding motor oil, is that I should replace oil and filter with something cheap, operate as usual for few weeks then change again with quality oil and filter.
I have been advised to only change filters on my hydraulic system, so long as what empties from used filters appears acceptable.
How about coolant and filter? Drain radiator, replace filter and top up cooolant?
The machine operates properly, 2700 hours, I use #2 heating oil, always starts up even in winter.
Thanks in advance.

Unknown. I have put about 150 hours on it in two years.
If it were me I would buy a workshop manual, or find one online cheaper than what the dealer would charge.

I need to do the same thing for my Kubota mini ex...so I totally understand...
