I had a 72 inch when I had my b2650 with cab. It did ok. If you’re not letting the grass get to tall or running mulching blades you will be good to go 👍. I just found on any hills and running the a/c made it snort a bit lol

I run a 72" on my L2350 (similar PTO hp) and it does fine.

As @Mitjam points out.....don't let the grass get too high. I do run mulching blades but keep them sharp. Also, I am mowing pasture grasses (tougher than lawn grasses) and have no problem.

I will say that going uphill in certain areas.... definitely gets the governor to kick in. But my mower weighs 620 lbs.

I've mentioned in other posts that the weight of the RFM is a big factor. At one time I had two different five foot RFM's on two different tractors. A lightweight 60" on the 16HP Ford and a heavy 60" on a 21HP Kubota. Both setups worked OK, paired that way. Out of curiosity I swapped the decks. Poor little Ford had a really tough time and prolonged use of the heavier deck would've killed it. The Kubota had a great time with the lighter deck. It seemed the Kubota barely noticed the mower it was pulling.

I ran a 72" behind my John Deere 855 that also had 19 PTO HP. No problems.
