You can't drop the first letter of the tractor designation as there were L and M's with the same numbers.
It also helps if you note if its 2wd or 4wd.

I'm guessing M4030 and 2wd?

It tearing up the ground because it's trying to get traction, if you put a turf tire on it your not going to have any steering.
Sounds like you've got something heavy on the three point and / or not enough weight on the front end.

A radial will not necessarily really help either.

If you use steering brakes that helps too.

Looking to put either a radial or turf tire on to keep from tearing ground up on sharp turns! Help!
Knowing what tires you are running and how you are using them could help. I was mowing L4610 with R4, mounting used wide truck tires the same height as my R4 fronts on a spare set of rims worked great.
