50" Front mount blower shear bolt

Having issues with auger shear bolt alignment. Left side shear bolt off about 1/2 the bolt hole sideways and cannot move auger enough to line up to replace bolt. Any help with this greatly appreciated.

Sounds a little odd. Does the auger spin freely on the auger shaft, or is there any binding? Any piece of the shear bolt stuck in the bolt hole?

Same thought here - stick a screwdriver in there to make sure all is clear - align new bolt.

Auger should spin pretty free with shear bolt all gone.

And don't forget to grease the auger, both fittings. The auger must be fully free to spin if a shear bolt breaks, this protects the tractor.
