5/16" Quick Tach Mounting Plate Idea's??

I've got one of these coming from Titan. I originally wanted a stump bucket but the price has jumped considerably on them. It's not something I had to have but thought it would come in handy for many projects.

I thought maybe I might try building one myself, or might even think of something else to do with the mounting plate.
How many of you have made your own implements with a quick tach mounting plate? I'm open to ideas or suggestions.. pics? It's more less a fun project!

Made my own for the SSQAselfpowered dua; auger snowblower 3 years ago.
The SSQA 'plate' was dead simple..a rectangle of checkerplate( only plate I had at the time) with a 2" strip welded to the top edge (45* I think) and 2 'U' shapes made from 1 1/4" flat bars where the 'locking pins' go in. That's a 60* angle, I think...
Need to make a 'stone sifter' soon. This time only using 6.5" strips for the 'attachment' walls, same upper 'lip' and "U' on the btms . Sifter will be 2 sections of 'industrial steel open steps' and some triangular gussets for the sides. A couple of 2by2 angles will be the 'runners' to keep it from digging in. I have about 100 cuyds of mixed sand/rocks to 'sort', jes sumthin to do.....

Sounds like you know what you're doing building the snowblower!

6.5" for the walls to save weight and $?

Used one for my snow plow, another of an open frame design for brush forks, and currently working on a DIY open frame design of my own to mount 3-point implements on.

6.5" cause they were 'cutoffs'. Lifetime supply of them(100s) ! 6.5" x 48" x 3/16" thk. The 'middle' section of a 'panel' generally isn't needed as weight ultimately is on the loader 'arms'. Some 'blanks' actually are notched or cutout, someone sells 'left and right' sections.
yes is simple to cut and form complete 'blanks', CNC the blank then 4 bends, less than 5 minutes in a big shop.

It came in today.. I may have over thunk the thickness needed.. just thought if it was to be used as a stump bucket it would take some tuff abuse! Now, looking at it I think I could have gone with 3/16 or 1/4" easily! Oh well better safe than sorry! The fit is great!

Put a 2" receiver on it and have the most overbuilt trailer mover ever!

I had several 1/4 plates bent at the local fab shop for making my own attachments like spade buckets, 3ph to SSQA adapter.

Open up drainage ditch until I get time to clean it out

Nothing like factory roll-over insurance, may have to upgrade in a couple of years.
