I am up north like you two and use my BX2370 for blowing snow. I have a charger / maintainer for the battery and a remote to turn on the block heater. I think turning on the block heater one hour before starting makes the bigger difference. The tractor starts on a 0 F day like its 80 F, the battery hardly knows it has been bumped. I have pretty much quit using the charger as when I do plug in the charger it immediately goes to maintainer mode, indicating a fully charged battery. My experience may be different because snowblowing my driveway takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours, so I rarely start the tractor without running long enough the recharge the battery.
My tractor is just over three years old so I guess It will be about this time next year when I find out if battery life is the same as yours.
