Whenever my L4060 HSTC arrives, I would like to add a down force, or whatever it is called to the 3point and a hydraulic top arm so that I can level grade, rake etc without the arms bouncing up. I asked the dealer if it has such a thing on it because it drives me nuts when trying to grade with my B2410 and it floats up and down instead of digging in to level.

I would like to add other items eventually such as suspension seat to the B2410. Are there companies that make things for Kubota tractors other than the normal implements and such?

I don't think you can make your new tractor into a "down force" 3PH. Top n tilt, yes.

JD 4000 series tractors are the only main line tractor that offer a 3pt with down force that I know of.
And then if you do get that feature, you supposedly can not have a hydraulic side link part of a top & tilt set.

As far as your implements bouncing, get heavy implements and slow down some. You hitch up to a 1000lb box blade, I doubt that it will do much bouncing.

Plus, sometimes you just need to wait and do the work after a rain.

Enjoy your new tractor. :)

Yes!
In my opinion, grading should always be done after a rain!

I was trying to level out my arena with fresh limestone, some sections were a bit rough and lumpy and no matter how I attacked it, could not get them smoothed out using a 6' grader blade. Of course this was 15 years ago, and haven't done any grading work since, I gave up trying to figure it out and let the horses do the work. Those buggers did a better job smoothing it out than I ever could.

Is there a site to buy Kubota accesories and items like 3rd valve kits and such without going to a dealer for it all? Thats what I'm looking for.

I try to support my local dealers. I want them to continue to provide timely service, parts and support.

I have two dealers about the same distance away. I can comparison shop that way.

I like the idea of finding spare parts usually on the same day I have a breakdown or service. I can call ahead and have the part ready for pickup- and I can send one of my kids to get it without worry. Win-win.

One thing that may help is tightening the float of the 3pt. There is a knob below the front of the seat you can tighten to reduce how fast or slow the 3pt floats up and down. I apologize if you already know about it. Adjusting that and your speed usually helps I’d digging in a staying in contact with the ground. Check out the “Dave’s knows how” YouTube channel. He has a great tutorial on it.

I am more looking at aftermarket things you can't get at a dealer. Mainly for my old B2410 that Kubota never made for it.
