Multiple choices that will work fine. Thet are all a generic D03 valve with joystick mounted switch and easy to install.

Post what you decide on. Been wanting one for my 1880. Dam dealer wanted one of my kidneys, left testical, and a lung to install one on mine.
If I rember right, they wanted $1600 to install one for my 3 point.

Or, you could keep all ur body parts and just cobble a diverter together like I did for not much $.
Surplus Center valve, McMaster Carr switch and a couple hoses. The original curl hoses were a perfect fit to supply the diverter valve. New hoses needed from valve to curl cylinder. It's not a true 3rd function but, works for me.

I'm new to tractors could you put together a install instructions for a 3rd point. I would like to do like you did and cobble a diverter together . Thanks you so much! I would need a parts list too please.

Dont do it. Buy the Summit or WR Long kit and follow the simple instructions.

That's why most get it installed at the time of purchase wrapped into the tractor financing.

This begs the question - what are you going to use the grapple for?

Putting a grapple on the BX1880 is not going to lift trees trunks especially after subtracting the grapple weight. The loader is just not that good. Maybe some brush and what not but only a couple hundred pounds. I just bolted some 2x4's to the bucket and am surprised how well it works moving brush. I just have a few acres so I'm not doing a lot, maybe once a year. Don't forget to add rear ballast.

IIRC, my local Kubota dealer charged mid to high $800's when purchasing the BX. Incentive price to buy now? I made the mistake ~25y/o ago not buying the Loftness snowblower with the then new NH. Year later and add $600. Really like the grapple claw. Makes life nice when moving logs and brush piles. Was considering a QA pallet fork, but unsure about use for hauling and moving logs. Might be an option for those not wanting to invest in a 3rd function?

Adjustable pallet forks work great for logs and brush. BX is too small for a grapple. Just make sure you have good lbs of ballast in the rear. With 300 lbs in the read of mine, can lift max weight with my 1880.

No issues using the grapple on the BX, but like any loader work it needs rear ballast. +300# box blade stays on during the non-snow months. Light mass of the BX feels unbalanced just moving around with an empty bucket without some mass hanging off the 3pt. The overall low weight and short wheelbase are limiting. Small loads with the bucket or grapple are fine. Have the time. Retired. Using pallet forks to remove an implement from a relatively high trailer without the box blade was a bit unsettling. Never again.

SGC0554, at ~180lbs. Max logs I've lifted have been single lengths of red oak 4-5ft lengths at 12-20". Unsure of max load of the grapple. IIRC, with the QA on the L344 the max load which I assume includes the weight of the implement is ~600lbs.

Looked at some pto powered cable winches to pull some lengths in the woods to the trail. Relatively heavy. Would make up for the box blade as rear ballast. Then I saw the prices. I don't burn enough wood to justify that "toy". Slick implement. Looks like you lower the unit to rest on the ground to reduce the chance of back flip. Screen to provide a bit of protection for the tractor just in case cable releases. Add a turning block. Have logger cords of lengths sitting in site of the trails. Right now it's cut to short lengths and man haul. No fun anymore as I've aged and gotten lazy.
