3pt squeak

My L2501 has an annoying squeak where my 3pt turn buckle stabilizer (Kubota calls it a check chain) attaches to the ROPS bracket on the rear axel(see pic). The clevis is squeaking. I’ve tried dry lube and a little grease. Both fix it temporarily, but only for a few days. I’ve tried tightening and loosening the sway of the 3 pt by turning the turnbuckles but neither seem to help. Any suggestions for a long term or permanent fix? Thanks.

Take the pin out of the shackle and coat all of the moving parts with a Never Seize compound. Never Seize is very resistant to water and helps keep metal from seizing to metal. On lug nuts and motor shafts it lasts much longer than oil.

Another option might be a thin nylon washer on each side of the bracket.

Spray some Fluid Film on it and be done. Repeat every 6 months or so.
