3pt Quick Hitch/PTO shaft short

So I bought a Quick Hitch, Now one of my implements PTO is too short This PTO shaft has a slip clutch. Can I just get a longer shaft and install the slip clutch on that PTO shaft or should I just buy a new shaft with the cluch installed?

I know others here have had this issue however when I searched for them I couldn't find anything.

I think I know what you mean, if you remove the U joint from the slip clutch and take it to a implement store or the dealer that you purchased the implement from they can probably match up the shaft and supply a longer one. I had the same problem and went to a company that deals in agri. supplies and i was able to buy just the male end of the slip and fitted it into my yoke it ended up costing me very little.
