For what's its worth - I just got a price on a new L3800 with Quick Detach FEL - new - out the door for $19,100. That's about 38 HP and more than the L2800.

I debated this as well. I was looking at a new L3800 for 20000 or '02 L4610 HST for 16500 with 250hrs. I ended up with the L4610. I have had it for a couple of weeks and love it. It is in great shape. It was used for snow removal mostly. I am in the process of clearing 22 acres around my house and I think the 6' FEL and the extra PTO hp will go a long way. Besides the money I saved will cover the cost of an stout brush hog and backhoe.
