3 pt lever problem

Hello folks, I have a M5660 SU . It only has 54 hrs. on it. Last time I used it the 3 pt lever started malfunctioning. It will not stay in the raised position. If I let go of it, it will go right back down and the implement with it. If I hold it up manually the implement will stay up. Guessing it needs some sort of adjustment. Is anyone familiar with this problem. Any help would be appreciated very much.

This is only my second post I believe and I don***8217;t have the tractor you stated.

But, per the operators manual (pg 48) there is a knob below the front of your seat that adjusts the speed the 3ph will drop. It could have been turned full open somehow and is not holding the pressure. I would start there first.

I don’t think that is the problem.

Look at the area at the bottom of the handle where the shaft comes out of the tractor and connects to the lever. There should be some Belleville washers and nut to hold some tension on the lever. Tighten the nut a little bit.
