I purchased a new M5660SUHD in May 2017. It now has only 38 hrs. on it. I used it for a couple hrs. the other day for some fel work. I put it away and went home that evening(75 miles away). Later that night it dawned on me that I didn't let the 3ph down when I parked it. It kinda bugged me but I figured it's not a real big deal. Went back down about 3 days later(today) and put the lever down but the 3ph didn't go down. I started it and let it get to operating temp but still it wouldn't go down. So, I did some other work and came back about 4 hrs later and it was still up. So, I just left the lever down and had to go home. By the way it has a 6 ft tiller attached to the 3 ph also. Any ideas on what's going on and/or how to fix it? Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks, Mark

3 point lowering speed control adjusted all way in/seated or piece of debris in it.

Open full open, counter clockwise, and see what happens.

Like GD said it's either the three drop speed control, round knob under the seat, or the three point feedback linkage is lost, off or gotten out of adjustment.
The linkage is connected to the top of the left lift arm. ;)

I already tried the speed control knob. Sorry, I forgot to mention that in my op. I will check into the linkage next time I go back, should be Wednesday.

So do you think the fact that I had left it in the raised position for 2-3 days had anything to do with it, or is that just a coincidence?

Likely a coincidence below it would have bled down over time even with the control lever fully raised.

No leaving it up won't have anything to do with it not working.
If anything leaving it up and it staying up, tells you the seals on the three point lift cylinder are good! ;)

Ok, sound good. Just wanted to make sure because it's still under warranty, so didn't want to tell them the wrong thing. Hopefully I can fix it myself if it's the feedback linkage. If not, I guess I'll have to call the dealer.

Just be careful you don't get hurt working on it if it has a load on it! often they come down when you are least expecting it!

Have you tried cycling the draft control?

Had a small M in the shop a while back similar complaint. It had draft control. Owner had a shredder hooked up to it, way too big for the tractor. At some point the draft control part of the top link broke and the draft control feedback "thought" that it was where it needed to be and the implement would not drop. Look at the linkage near the tractor top link real good. Might find something there.

I had this happen once.....and after much head scratching.......discovered the top link was jammed into/against the ROPS, therefore would not release until I relieved the jammed situation.
