3 pt hitch dropping

My 3 pt hitch height control lever has become "soft" feeling with no resistance to hold my blower in up position. If I don't manually hold the lever up, it will instantly drop. I don't see any leaks, fluid levels are fine. I have tried opening and closing the hydraulic valve under the seat with no change (I can lock the 3pt hitch up when it's fully closed and it won't drop)
The loader also seems very sluggish and slow to move.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Check the 3 pt feedback linkage connected to one of the upper lift arms.
It "tells" the valve for the 3 pt hitch where the lift arms are in height and also stops the hydraulic flow when the arms reach the top.
Sometimes the linkage comes loose or get bent.
It will also bleed off pressure thus affecting the strength of the loader

Thank you for the reply. I just went and adjusted it forward and back with no change so I set it back to the original position.

You say the control lever won't stay in place? There's a friction device for that. Just needs a little tightening.
060 is a lock nut. Back it off, then tighten 050 until you get some drag. Then hold 050 while snugging 060 against it.
