3 Point works but not with a load

Does anyone have a link to an affordable/decent quality hydraulic pressure gauge that will fit this tractor to test the PSI?

Hère is a simple tester I threw together from what I had in the shop - all new parts. I assume the coupler on your loader is 3/8 female. I didnt have a 1/4 x 3/8 pipe bushing so I had to get creative.

• 3000 PSI glycerin filled gauge
• 1/4 female NPT x JIC6 swivel adapter
• Male JIC 6 x 3/8 male NPT àdapter

The loader moves. The idea is to test return pressure.

I did not say return. I said return pressure which is supplied by the power beyond circuit from the loader valve to hydraulic block. The goal is to confirm the 3pt is actually getting pressure. Perhaps you should read my previous posts.

The links under the 2 up down handles are attached. One handle is harder to move up and down than the other. Still nothing when under a load. I ordered a gauge for pressure. Is it most likely the o rings under the seat?

On my Ford, one of those O-rings was teflon, and as I mentioned earlier, was REALLY a bitch to stretch over the piston.

I assume you mean you checked th linkage and draft/position control valve handles and everything looks good.

When troublesooting hydraulics I start from a known good point in the circuit and try to isolate the problem with testing.

The loader is getting pressure and working so the supply to it is good.

If you dont get pump pressure at the test point I indicated the problem is in the couplers or the loader valve.

If you get pump pressure. the loader power beyond circuit is good and the problem is somewhere in the rear of the tractor.

If you want to skip that testing, assume the supply is good, and jump into tearing the lift cover apart go for it.
