Many good replies. Level ground is best. The 3 point hitch travels in an arc motion. It is perpendicular to the ground in the middle of it's travel. Using pallets or stacking blocks to use as a "parking stand" is getting the 3pt closer to being perpendicular.

Some smaller implements (sub soiler, boom pole, ect) while reasonably light and easy to man-handle, I have built wooden parking stands while implement was attached to tractor and 3pt in it's center of travel position.

If interested, photos posted here.

I had to modify a few of mine. I would guess at about an hour each. Well worth the time to me, I never leave the seat now. None of the newer attachments need mods.
Low on the to do list for me as I don't do a ton of 3PH implement swaps and I still have to get off for the PTO hookup. I'd rather modify my SSQA to actuate the levers remotely.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I think I am going to start a new post asking about rear remotes via the 3rd function valve. I'm ready for a rear remote for sure now.
