First time tractor owner with a question about pallet forks for my 3 point hitch.

The tractor is a 2022 LX2610hsdc with a FEL and snowblower. I want yo be able to move a week's worth of firewood from the woodpile to the house and was thinking pallet forks connected to the 3 point hitch would work for that. I see Titan has a set for about $400, that are rated for 1500 pounds. GWT, has the Versaforks rated for 2000 lbs but they are around $1200. If I go with the Titan, will I regret it?

I used one of the 3-Point cary alls which are rated for 1000# and around $250. I then bolted on and made box for hauling tools and firewood on the back of mine. That said, I believe you would be good with the Titan and saving your cash.

According to tractor data dot com the three point rear hitch is only capable of 2100 to 1700 pounds depending on how far back it is. I assume the front end would be pretty light unless you have something in the FEL or front weights. Do you want that much weight on your yard?

The 1500 pound implement seems sufficient since it is about all you can lift. The 2000 pound implement provides a bit more safety margin and the ability to carry heavier loads close to the pins if needed.

I would go with the 1500 version myself

Awesome, thank you both. In the winter when I need to bring wood from the wood pile to the house the snowblower will be hooked up. I think that should provide the counter weight. I'm using the FEL now to move wood around.

I had a similar idea to Outnumbered, to make a box to haul the wood.

Thanks again for the replies and help

I am in the process of making a generic carry-all. I bought the 3-point adapter from Titan. If you have any cutting and welding equipment, just get the adapter and make a platform to build your box on top of. I am going to add some removable railing to mine. Removable just to keep the weight down for mounting/dismounting it.
