3 Point Hitch "Twitch"

Looking for some help in diagnosing a "twitch" that's happening with the 3 point hitch assembly on my M7060. Something I've noticed for the past few months -when I have an implement lifted on the 3 point hitch, there is a twitch or slight jerk upwards every few seconds. Movement is only about a quarter of an inch at the back of my 6' rotary mower. Not noticeable when driving (rough fields) but when sitting still I can feel the tractor jerk. Only the 3 point hitch is affected, not the front end loader. Hydraulic oil level is right where it should be. Any ideas?

Need to adjust the 3 point feedback rod.

Or - leaking seal in lift cylinder(s)? Although my Ford 1210 isn't even a distant cousin to your Kubota, that's what its problem was.

The WSM desctibes the adjustment but I dont think thats the problem. The jerk upward is feedback diung its job as designed. Its raising the 3pt to compensate for leakdown in the lift circuit.

As suggested the leakdown is commonly caused by a leaky piston seal. Unless you are having operational problems simply ignore it.

Sorry that was so small and wrong. Yes, loosen 160,170 and adjust 150 until the twitch stops. I am unsure which way to adjust.

Also, check 190 clips are there.

Wouldn't a leaking piston seal be visible? Both the cylinders are completely dry - no sign of a leak.

Whoops - external cylinders. I was thinking internal piston and cylinder and had not considered that.

That said you would not see the leak. Fluid would move internally from base end to rod end and back to sump via the breather. If you can pull the breather lines off you would see any leakage coming out of them.
