I'm in the process of reading the on-line manual for my tractor and I apologize for asking so many basic questions on day one. I have a used LX2610 so no dealer to ask. My rear hitch lever has to be at 5-6 before there is any lifting motion on the hitch. Is there something that I need to adjust, is this normal, or do I need service. Thanks!

There is a feedback rod linkage that you can adjust but I don’t think that will resolve your issue. I think that it only adjusts where the upper level stops.

Rend about the adjustment in the manual to be sure that my recollection is correct.

There have been several complaints similar to yours and it seems that is really normal operation.
