3 point hitch arm heims

I was wondering if anyone has replaced the heim joints on the three point hitch arms. Mine are very worn. I'm guessing just grind the welds off, pop out the old one, and slip a new one in and weld around it. Is this correct?

You can get replacement ends that can be welded on. This one can be bought at Tractor Supply.

Pat's easy change system now also makes a weld on version.
