I just purchased a used snow blower for a good price,I'm new to this tractoring stuff but not mech challenged(much). When I attache the blower to the hitch it sits about 3-4 inches off the skids to the ground,I can adjust the top link so the augers are hitting the dirt, just dont think this is correct,is there any adjustments on the hitch so as it will sit closer to the ground?
There are a right and left adjuster's that go between the top and bottom arms but they've been welded for some reason,I have a ZL2202DT,thanks in advance

Don’t know about your machine, but my 3pt hitch has several adjustment holes that affect the height of the lower arms.
On a 2 stage blower the auger definitely does not contact the ground. On pavement I run mine dead level on large shoes set keeping the cutting edge about 1/4” off pavement.

In general the lower arms are connected to the upper arms. The upper arms are where the power from the tractor is applied. Usually one link between the upper and lower arms is adjustable the other is not. Usually the right (sitting in the seat) is the adjustable link. The lower arms may have another set of holes to connect the links to that could let them lower more.
Usually the arms can go lower than the connections on the implement.

There may be a knob under the seat that regulates the speed of the lowering of the arms. Make sure it is all the way open to fast
