Has anyone used the Titan Universal Quick Tach To 3 Point Quick Hitch Adapter From Universal Quick Tach To 3 Point Quick Hitch Adapter to mount their scraper blade on their FEL to move snow?

I have been looking at one of these for a while for moving attachments, using my old boom pole as a light lifting jib and maybe even for pushing the occasional snow with an old 6' blade in my mother in laws barn.

curious as to cost, vs a real 'snow' blade, or snow 'pusher'.
there is a difference between a rear 'dirt' blade and a 'snow' plow.

Just looking to use the attachments I already have, also have a 50 rear blower however the blade would make slushy snow cleanup easier. After consideration, the height of the attachment point would probably put quite a bit of stress on the loader arms.
Thank you to those that replied, sometimes I need to think things through out loud so to speak.

Been there done that, ran it on the tractor and the bobcat.

It's unruly and awkward.
It digs in and won't float
If you hit anything solid you're going to break something!

Snow blades and dozer blades made for the loader have trip edges or blades to keep them from doing damage to the loader, mount, or blade.

I came to OTT to ask about a similar product for similar reasons to the OP. and here is a recent post covering the exact same ground.

I have a handful of rear attachments that I'd like to have the option to use up front and I'd like the 2in receiver to help move trailers around in front of me. I had been looking at this product.

Amazon.com : VEVOR Universal 3-Point Skid Steer Plate, 3/8" Skid Steer Attachment Plate, Skid Steer Mount Plate Steel Adapter Loader, Compatible with Deere, Kubota, Bobcat, Mahindra Skid Steers and Tractors : Patio, Lawn & Garden

My current impetus for the online search I was doing was the light snow removal I could be doing under current conditions. I don't need a full-bore snow plow setup with where I live. It snows 1-3 times a year at a level where I would need to remove ice/snow. I just need a light duty scraping setup and was contemplating flipping around my Land Pride RB0560 with this mount to accomplish the job. However, the post above about the trip blades limiting damage to FEL arms when you hit something with enough resistance is making me pause to reconsider.

I am curious about the "it digs in and won't float" comment - why? Is it due to weight? Surely a dedicated front blade with trip edge made for scraping snow weighs more than this plate and my rear blade. Will they not float either?

Just another reason I like these kinds of forums that share collective wisdom and help protect me - and my equipment - from my impulsive "good ideas."

One of the many stalled projects here is an adapter to go QA/3P for the loader. The main purpose will be a place to grab the landscape rake so I can reach into the fence row and drag brush out of it. So far I have a frame made of 1/4" wall 2x2 galvanized square tube. Priorities move around for me, but one of these days...............

Dedicated front blades not only have a trip edge but the also shoes/ skids to help them from digging in.
One other reason is they are designed to be closer to the plate and not hanging out so far.
That distance out exaggerates every move you or the tractor makes.

Ok this is the one task that the front 3 point mount excelled at, I had it spun around and was able to reach out and grab duff out of places.
It was the real only win for this adapter.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I want to tidy up a fence row. Being able to reach into poison ivy and drag stuff out will be nice. My DeWalt pole saw will take care of creating headroom for the cab.

There's a little earthwork following that.

+1 on this.

I have never used a blade on my tractors FEL, but when I hit something with my "truck plow" and that blade slams down, it scares the hell out of me, but I am damn glad it "trips over" instead of being solid.

Its a pretty "violent" sound for sure.

I made my own adapter to run my snowblower on the loader of my open station tractor.

It worked but I didn't like how far forward the blower was. It was difficult to clean in tight spaces and around cars on curves. I've gone back to rear mount on my cab tractor. I'm warm, dry and comfortable now so driving backwards is less of a pain.

That's what I want!
I made that adapter 25-30 yrs ago.
Works good for cleaning out ditches with York Rake
Woven wire fence unroller
Carry all (I have since welded on a SSQA plate to the carry all)
2 inch square receiver for 3 pt hitch.
I even used it with my box blade once so I wouldn't have to dismount my backhoe.
Handy.
