It's that time of year when I will be installing the subframe and front snowblower on my L6060. Unfortunately, the changeover process is onerous enough that it pretty much precludes using other front implements for the balance of winter. Does anyone have any experience using a SSQA adapter on the 3 point so that I could use my bucket and/or pallet forks on the rear? I do have a top and tilt installed, so although limited, the bucket and forks will have some maneuverability. Good idea? Bad idea? Suggestions on choice of adapters? As always, appreciate the help.

At $500 not a bad deal.. others are more coins, double or triple !

Consider what your 3PH can lift, Say 1500#, then buy one good for 1800. there's no need to buy a bigger unit.

Thanks Old and Green. Don't quote me but thinking I remember Cat2 3ph capacity iisted as approaching 3000#. I've seen the scoops but wouldn't my front loader bucket work to some degree for snow pushing/scooping. Thanks again guys.

My guess, yes, most likely, it would work. I just had not done it. My concern is that "pushing" with the 3 point hitch is kind of a weak link. It's design for "pulling" implements.

There are posts of people bending 3 point linkage, when they were pushing backwards... just know that!

Fair enough. Thanks for the warning. Guess I just should have kept my little BX as a spare tractor instead of trading it in for the L6060. Just have to win the lottery, LOL. Thanks again.
