245 dt how i fixed my stuck clutch

My 245dt had been sitting for 3 months and found the clutch stuck.Last resort i sprayed wd40 thru the inspection plate overnight now shes going..Just thought i would share the good news

Phil,

that is awesome - I am sure as you know WD-40 is Water Displacement - thus it tried to wick away moisture before it could rust more. HOW was the clutch after? Any type of smoke as the WD was burned off?
And you do know to lock the clutch down when not in use for long period of times?;):)

I think the key word is "lock" not "clock". It just a matter of using a wooden piece to manually press the clutch down so it is not in contact with the pressure plate. (Just like if you were setting on the seat and had your foot on the clutch pedal) This prevents and opportunity for the two to become rusted together.

D2Cat sorry for the typo I did mean lock. Christmas cheer got the best of me. Typing Fingers were way ahead of my brain. Thanks....
