Phil,My 245dt had been sitting for 3 months and found the clutch stuck.Last resort i sprayed wd40 thru the inspection plate overnight now shes going..Just thought i would share the good news
I think the key word is "lock" not "clock". It just a matter of using a wooden piece to manually press the clutch down so it is not in contact with the pressure plate. (Just like if you were setting on the seat and had your foot on the clutch pedal) This prevents and opportunity for the two to become rusted together.85Hokie, I have a 1985 L355SS and was wondering how far down do you clock the clutch
